Following the success of our recent CloudMET and Metabolomic workflows courses, we are pleased to announce one more workshop (free admission!) on 14th December at Murray Learning Centre, University of Birmingham. This workshop will feature introductory lectures  followed by practical sessions where you will be using the PhenoMeNal Gateway to run data-processing and analysis workflows. What is it?…
Already registered for MetaboMeeting 2017 and interested in learning how you can run your data analysis on local or commercial cloud? Come and meet us at our booth for hands-on demonstrations and/or listen to our talks to see how the PhenoMeNal Gateway can help you with your research. Here's a guide to what we are up to in…
It’s been a bit more than a month since the Scientific School on Cloud-based Metabolomics Data Analysis and Collaboration (CloudMET) 2017 wrapped up. This event distinguished itself from the various metabolomics data analysis schools as its organizers – CRS4 and the rest of the PhenoMeNal consortium, with great help from the University of Cagliari –…
Date: Tuesday Oct 24, 2017, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM BST Abstract: In this webinar, Pablo Moreno (EMBL-EBI), will explain the main components of PhenoMeNal and how the user interacts with them. We will demonstrate how to register, access existing tools and workflows, create a new PhenoMeNal cloud research Environment (CRE) on Amazon, and execute a workflow on a…
Date: Wednesday 25 October 2017, 16:00 -  17:00 (Europe/London) Abstract: PhenoMeNal aims to bridge the gap between cloud computing and metabolomics researchers by providing the ability to create Cloud Research Environments (CRE) for metabolomics data analysis. A PhenoMeNal CRE is a small cluster of computers with popular metabolomics data analysis tools already installed. These tools are ready to be run and are…
The PhenoMeNal consortium in collaboration with  RMIT University, University of Melbourne, National Institute of Genetics and Friedrich-Schiller-University, hosted a workshop on Data Sharing, Standardisation and Workflow for reproducible analysis in Metabolomics at the Metabolomics 2017 Brisbane, Australia. The workshop was focussed on metabolomics data sharing standards and computational workflows for metabolomics data analysis within the PhenoMeNal e-infrastructure.
The PhenoMeNal project, ELIXIR-NL and ELIXIR-DE organised a strategic workshop on the “Future of Metabolomics in ELIXIR” on 25th April in Frankfurt, Germany. The one-day workshop discussed the metabolomics resources and services available through some of the ELIXIR nodes and developed a number of ELIXIR use cases for metabolomics and their alignments with the ELIXIR platforms.…
The PhenoMeNal project and the Netherlands Metabolomics Centre are jointly organising a one day strategic workshop on "Future of Metabolomics in ELIXIR" on 25th April 2017 at Frankfurt Airport, Germany in coordination with ELIXIR-NL and ELIXIR-DE.  ELIXIR is a distributed infrastructure for life science information, bringing resources across Europe together. These resources include databases, software…
PhenoMeNal partner IPB, is hosting a two day workshop from 4th-5th April 2017, on PhenoMeNal workflows. The objective of the workshop is to showcase and improve existing workflows to achieve broader applicability, improve functionalities and add Findable Accessible Interoperable Re-usable (FAIR) information.
