PhenoMeNal team is looking forward to meeting you at MetaboMeeting 2017, 11-13th December, University of Birmingham, UK.  Visit us for a hands-on session on using Cloud Research Environment (CRE) for data analysis. See schedule below:
Date and time: Thursday 23rd  November 2017, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM GMT Abstract: In this webinar, Dr. Steffen Neumann (Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry), will introduce the MetFrag system and then focus on using it in Galaxy as part of the PhenoMeNal infrastructure.  The MetFrag workflow goes a first step to annotate molecules from compound (metabolite) databases to MS/MS (tandem mass spectrometry)…
Following the success of our recent CloudMET and Metabolomic workflows courses, we are pleased to announce one more workshop (free admission!) on 14th December at Murray Learning Centre, University of Birmingham. This workshop will feature introductory lectures  followed by practical sessions where you will be using the PhenoMeNal Gateway to run data-processing and analysis workflows. What is it?…
Already registered for MetaboMeeting 2017 and interested in learning how you can run your data analysis on local or commercial cloud? Come and meet us at our booth for hands-on demonstrations and/or listen to our talks to see how the PhenoMeNal Gateway can help you with your research. Here's a guide to what we are up to in…
Date: Tuesday Oct 24, 2017, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM BST Abstract: In this webinar, Pablo Moreno (EMBL-EBI), will explain the main components of PhenoMeNal and how the user interacts with them. We will demonstrate how to register, access existing tools and workflows, create a new PhenoMeNal cloud research Environment (CRE) on Amazon, and execute a workflow on a…
Date: Wednesday 25 October 2017, 16:00 -  17:00 (Europe/London) Abstract: PhenoMeNal aims to bridge the gap between cloud computing and metabolomics researchers by providing the ability to create Cloud Research Environments (CRE) for metabolomics data analysis. A PhenoMeNal CRE is a small cluster of computers with popular metabolomics data analysis tools already installed. These tools are ready to be run and are…
Date: 30th October - 2nd November 2017; Venue: European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), Cambridge,  CB10 1SD, United Kingdom The participants will learn about metabolomics data analysis using publicly available softwares and tools. The training course includes hand-on tutorials on data submissions and using the PhenoMeNal compute platform for a workflow based approach to data analysis. For registration and details click here.
The PhenoMeNal project in collaboration with the Universities of Cagliari, Jena and Cambridge are organizing the “Scientific School on Cloud-based Metabolomics Data Analysis and Collaboration” , to be held in CRS4’s research campus in [Pula, Sardinia, Italy] on September 11th-15th, 2017.  The School will offer participants an opportunity to learn about current topics in metabolomics, with…
The PhenoMeNal consortium in collaboration with  RMIT University, University of Melbourne, National Institute of Genetics and Friedrich-Schiller-University, hosted a workshop on Data Sharing, Standardisation and Workflow for reproducible analysis in Metabolomics at the Metabolomics 2017 Brisbane, Australia. The workshop was focussed on metabolomics data sharing standards and computational workflows for metabolomics data analysis within the PhenoMeNal e-infrastructure.
PhenoMeNal will host its joint SAB-Stakeholder-Annual Consortium meeting at EMBL-EBI, UK on 15-16th June 2017. The two-day event will be attended by the scientific advisors, stakeholders and members of the the consortium and will include lighting talks on reuse of health data, data privacy and clinical metabolomics by the expert panel and demonstrations by the PhenoMeNal partners…
